Open House is always one of my favorite days of the year because it reveals who we are and what we value. It shows how faith, intellect, and community come together here and allows us to share the promise of an Ursuline education. When we opened our doors to families for the All School Open House on Saturday, November 1, our students, faculty, and parents shared what makes this school so special.

When families ask, “Why Ursuline?” the answer begins with our mission and is brought to life in our people. Faith and intellect are not separate pursuits here. They work together to form young women of wisdom, character, and compassion. Students are encouraged to think deeply, ask bold questions, and approach learning with curiosity and purpose.

Our teachers challenge their students while offering the support they need to grow in confidence and purpose. Our students learn that leadership is not defined by position but by influence, by how they serve, uplift, and make others stronger.

One of the Ursuline Sisters recently reminded me that for St. Angela, everything begins with relationships. Her vision was rooted in authentic, caring connections that nurture faith, understanding, and community. That same spirit lives in our motto, Serviam, “I will serve,” and continues to shape Ursuline today.

There has never been a better time to be part of The Ursuline School, a community where young women learn not only how to succeed but how to live with faith, purpose, and heart.
