The Ursuline School is an independent, Catholic college preparatory school for girls, grades 6 - 12, founded in 1897. During the 2022-23 academic year, we are proud to celebrate our 125th year of excellence!
Our school is part of a network of 20 Ursuline schools worldwide.
Location: 13 acre campus in New Rochelle, New York.
Enrollment: Approximately 770 students, grades 6-12, who come from throughout Westchester County, the Bronx, Manhattan, and Connecticut.
Faculty: 94 faculty members, 90% of whom have master's or doctoral degrees.
Faculty Advisers: Each student has a member of the faculty/administration as an academic adviser.
Tuition: $21,575 for the 2023-24 academic year.
Financial Aid and Merit Scholarships: Over $1.9 million for the 2022-23 academic year.

Faith: Students from all faith traditions are welcome; 80% are Catholic.

College Bound: Typically, 100% of our graduates enroll in domestic or international 4-year colleges or universities.
College Scholarships Earned: The 163 students in the Class of 2022 earned nearly $23 million in college merit scholarships.
Technology: We are a 1-to-1 laptop school; our whole campus is wireless; there are interactive whiteboards in classrooms; our Director of Technology Integration assists teachers in incorporating technology into the curriculum.
Athletics: Ursuline belongs to the New York State Public High School Athletic Association and fields 35 interscholastic teams. For the 2019-20 academic year, we qualified for the 14th time to be a NY State School of Distinction as all eligible varsity teams maintained a Grade Point Average of 90% or better. Facilities include Kelly Mac Field which is a state-of-the-art turf field, the Tully Family Auditorium - Gymnasium, and 3 tennis courts.
The Arts: Each year students present an art show, two major drama productions, two music concerts, and two dance recitals. In recent years, students have also organized a Broadway Cabaret. The Mooney Hancock Arts Center houses the 300-seat Auriana Theater, orchestra and chorus practice rooms, a dance studio, the Sr. Anne Therese Dillen Media Arts Center, the Stephanie Clemente Broadcast Studio, and 3 art rooms.
Personal Development: Through courses and supplemental activities, this unique program aims to help our students become more confident, articulate and empowered leaders, capable of facing the challenges of adolescence and prepared for the world beyond the walls of Ursuline.
Extracurricular Activities: More than 60 clubs are led by students and moderated by faculty.
Alumnae: More than 8,000 graduates.
Traditions: Ring Day, Mother-Daughter Communion Breakfast, and Father-Daughter Dance are among the traditions that bind the students and alumnae.
