On September 15, 2022, we enjoyed unique presentations of the decades as alumnae shared reflections and students walked the runway in historic uniforms.

Archival displays highlighted milestones in the history of The Ursuline School.

More than 300 guests enjoyed delicious hors d'oeuvres and special beverages.

Cardinal Dolan at our Opening Liturgy

Cardinal delivers homily

Timothy Cardinal Dolan celebrated the first Mass of our 2022-23 school year, greeted an enthusiastic crowd of more than 1,400 and then visited with students in our Innovation Hub.

At the homily, the Cardinal addressed the students and he thanked the Ursuline Sisters whom he called a “sparkling part of the enterprise of Catholic education.”

125 Years of Serviam & The Cereal Effect

Serviam - “I will serve” - is our school motto which unites us across generations.

On September 14, 2022, we collected 1,538 boxes of cereal for donation to HOPE Community Services and families who are food insecure. We lined the cereal boxes along the school hallway and then tipped over the first box.  Students cheered as the boxes fell over like dominos!

This was all part of our second annual Cereal Effect service project.

Our 125th Commencement in May 2022

Graduates display the commencement program

At our 125th commencement on May 20, 2022, the Class of 2022 was celebrated for their accomplishments as well as their fortitude, grace and joy.

We also honored the surprising parallels with the first ever graduating class of spring 1897, who actually completed their studies in a home school environment before our school officially opened in fall 1897.

Thus it is that our 125th commencement took place before our 125th academic year.
