On July 9, Ursuline families gathered in the Kulsar & McCarthy Lobby to meet two outstanding new leaders: Mrs. Dawn Cerrone, CAA, our new Athletic Director, and Mrs. Kathy Reilly, Interim Chair of the Academic & College Counseling Department. The Meet and Greet offered a warm welcome and a chance to connect with these accomplished professionals as they begin their Ursuline journeys.

With decades of combined experience and a strong student-centered approach, Mrs. Cerrone and Mrs. Reilly bring a valuable mix of leadership, insight, and care to their roles, ensuring students are supported every step of the way.

Leading with Strength and Spirit: Mrs. Dawn Cerrone, CAA

Mrs. Cerrone brings over 30 years of experience in physical education and athletics, with leadership roles across school systems and the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. Most recently, she served as Athletic Director at Our Lady of Mercy Academy, where she coached multiple varsity sports and guided many student-athletes through the college recruiting process.

“I am honored to join The Ursuline School community,” she shared. “This is a place where values, vision, and student-centered excellence come together—and I look forward to supporting our student-athletes in every aspect of their journey.”
