Student-run company presents at Javits Center trade show
Shannon Dufresne

On April 23, 2026, Ursuline's student-run company, resQcase.net, presented its work at the International Virtual Enterprises Trade Show at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, marking a milestone in the program's first year.

Students built and managed the business through Ursuline's Virtual Enterprises course (VE), developing the brand, overseeing payroll and taxes, and buying and selling with peer companies worldwide. At the trade show, they brought that work to a larger stage, representing Ursuline alongside programs from across the country and internationally.

The team generated more than $30,000 in sales over the course of the year while gaining hands-on experience in negotiation, finance, and day-to-day operations.

Students who complete Money and Markets and the Bloomberg workshop, earn Bloomberg certification, or pursue independent study in the business department, can participate in the VE program.
