Ursuline students connect with sister school through global education exchange

Ursuline students connected with peers from Ursuline High School in Wimbledon, UK, during a global education exchange held in the Auriana Theater on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

Coordinated through Ursuline's Global Education program led by Director of Global Education Mrs. Maria Barton, the exchange brought together AP European History students, including three Class of 2028 Global Scholars candidates, for a morning of academic discussion and international connection. Mr. Chris Bratt, social studies chair and AP European History teacher, also helped facilitate the event.

Students from Wimbledon opened the session with a presentation exploring the history and complexities of Brexit. Ursuline students followed with a presentation on the Monroe Doctrine. Each presentation concluded with student-led Q&A discussions that encouraged students to engage with differing historical perspectives and cultural viewpoints.
