Cheers to Reunion 2026: A celebration of sisterhood, tradition, and achievement

Reunion is one of the most joyous occasions at Ursuline, bringing together generations of Ursuline women. On June 6, nearly 300 alumnae from across the U.S. and around the world returned to campus to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate the lifelong bonds of sisterhood.

President Dr. Colleen Melnyk welcomed alumnae home, reminding them of the lasting impact of their Ursuline education. "You are the women who have taken the values of The Ursuline School far beyond these walls, into your professions, your communities, and your families," she said. "We’re thrilled to welcome you back today."

The gathering was a celebration of friendship, tradition, and belonging. Alumnae enjoyed campus tours, cocktails, dinner, and dancing as well as browsing cherished memorabilia and taking class photos on the iconic Ring Day steps. The celebration was made even more special by the opportunity to reconnect with retired and current faculty, administrators, and the Ursuline Sisters, reminiscing about memories spanning decades.

Alumnae demonstrated their commitment to today's students by signing up to serve as mentors and speakers. In addition, this year marked the launch of the Reunion Impact Fund, a new Reunion tradition that invites alumnae to invest in the educational experiences of current students. This collective fund unites Reunion alumnae across generations and extends the impact far beyond what any single class could achieve alone. Thanks to the generosity of this year's Reunion alumnae, more than $34,000 was raised to support programs and opportunities that can benefit every student.

A special treat at this Reunion was the return of longtime chaplain Msgr. Dennis P. Keane to preside at the Reunion Mass. After the liturgy, we proudly honored 10 remarkable alumnae with Reunion awards recognizing professional achievement and service to others, living the Ursuline mission in meaningful ways.

St. Angela Award

The St. Angela Award recognizes exceptional dedication to The Ursuline School and commitment to promoting the values and teachings of Serviam, the foundation of an Ursuline education.
