Rendon ’26 named QuestBridge College Match Scholar

The Ursuline School is proud to announce that Genesis Rendon '26 has been selected as a QuestBridge College Match Scholar, earning a full four-year scholarship to the College of the Holy Cross. Genesis was chosen through the highly competitive QuestBridge National College Match, one of the nation's most prestigious scholarship programs for high-achieving students.

Selected from a pool of more than 25,000 applicants nationwide, Genesis distinguished herself through strong academic performance, leadership, and dedication to her studies. She plans to begin her studies in biology and psychology at the College of the Holy Cross, a private Jesuit liberal arts college in Worcester, Massachusetts, in the fall of 2026.

In 2025, QuestBridge matched 2,550 scholarship finalists with 55 partner colleges nationwide. Match Scholarship Recipients receive early admission and a full financial aid package that covers tuition, housing and food, books and supplies, and travel expenses, with no loans or parent contribution required.

“Genesis brings a rare combination of resilience, intellectual curiosity, and artistic talent. She consistently seeks opportunities to grow, and her determination made this moment possible."
