On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, The Ursuline School proudly welcomed a new group of talented student artists into its chapter of the National Art Honor Society (NAHS) during a meaningful and inspiring induction ceremony. Hosted by the Visual & Media Arts Department, the event honored both the creative accomplishments and the personal growth of students who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to the arts.
The ceremony featured heartfelt reflections from faculty and students alike, focusing on the power of art as a force for self-expression, storytelling, and community connection. From painting and photography to digital media and design, each inductee has shown not only technical skill but also a deep passion for using art to inspire and communicate.
In a special moment of recognition, members of the Class of 2025 received their NAHS honor cords—a symbol of their artistic achievement that they will proudly wear at graduation. These cords represent hours of practice, creative exploration, and commitment to using their talents to enrich the school and broader community.
Following the ceremony, the celebration of creativity continued with the 2025 Spring Arts Show in Tully Auditorium. Students, teachers, families, and friends were invited to browse a stunning array of artwork showcasing the diverse talent within Ursuline’s visual and media arts program. From bold mixed-media pieces to subtle sketches and digital compositions, the collection reflected both technical excellence and personal expression.
The Spring Arts Show was more than just an exhibit—it was a vibrant display of imagination, dedication, and artistic voice that thrives within The Ursuline School. Together, the NAHS induction and the art show offered a powerful reminder of how art builds community, celebrates individuality, and connects us all.
Congratulations to our new NAHS inductees and all the incredible artists who made the evening unforgettable!
