Varsity Cheerleaders Crowned 2025 State Champions

The Ursuline School proudly celebrates its Varsity Game Day Cheerleaders, who captured the 2025 Class A NYSPHSAA State Championship title at Hudson Valley Community College in Albany.

The Koalas delivered two outstanding performances that showcased precision, school spirit, and unmatched teamwork—earning them the top spot among New York's best. The championship event took place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, bringing together elite teams from across the state.

Led by coaches John Braca and Karissa Vargas, the championship roster featured 24 scholar-athletes—including nine seniors and one beloved Koala mascot.
 

“They worked hard from start to finish and remained undefeated throughout the Fall season. To place first in both rounds and win the state title for the second year in a row is truly a testament to their dedication, teamwork, and love for Ursuline.” said Coach Vargas.
