Valedictorian Katherine Miller and salutatorian Anjali Shafiee delivered inspiring addresses that reflected the heart and humor of the Class of 2025. With warmth, wit, and wisdom, both speakers celebrated the journey they’ve shared—from their early days at Ursuline to graduation and the friendships forged along the way—and reminded everyone that Ursuline is more than a school; it’s a family.

In her address, President Dr. Colleen Melnyk praised the graduates for their leadership and deep sense of community. “You’ve been a class of leaders—not just in titles, but in how you showed up for one another. You formed a true sisterhood—rooted in trust, purpose, and care,” she said. Click HERE to read Dr. Melnyk's Commencement address.

As a class, they have been accepted to colleges and universities across the country and the world, earning nearly $22 million in scholarship offers.”

Following the indoor ceremony, the skies began to clear, allowing graduates and their families to gather outdoors on the JB Commons and along the senior path. Smiles, hugs, and proud tears filled the campus as students celebrated with those who supported them every step of the way. Ursuline’s newest graduates posed for photos and welcomed new beginnings, bright with promise.
