The Ursuline School does not guarantee that the courses listed will be offered each year. In addition, please understand that no agent of the school is authorized to guarantee admission to a particular course, or guarantee that a student will have a particular teacher, or guarantee that a student will take a course in a particular semester.

The Ursuline School reserves the right to cancel any course or change faculty. It also reserves the right to change policies stated in The Ursuline School Course Guide.

Curriculum at a Glance

Minimum Course Requirements

Students must successfully complete a minimum of 24 units in order to graduate from The Ursuline School. Of the 24 units, the following 20.5 units must be taken in the following areas:

Religion = 2.5 units (required grades 9-12)
English = 4 units
Social Studies = 4 units
Mathematics = 3 units
Latin/World Language = 3 units/or Level 3 of one
Language
Science = 3 units
Art/Music = 1 unit
Technology = .5 unit

Physical Education must be taken in grade 9 and then one semester anytime in grades 10-12.

Remaining units are earned through elective courses in Art, Classics, English, World Languages, Mathematics, Science, Technology, and/or Social Studies.
