Innovative Design

Students engage in real-world challenges through iterative design projects and team-based experiences.

Goal:

To help students develop design thinking skills and a problem-solving mindset so they are prepared to take on the complex challenges of today and the future.

Curriculum Overview:

Innovative Design courses take place in our signature learning space, the Innovation Hub (iHub), which fosters collaborative and creative learning. Ninth and tenth-grade students are eligible to take Intro to Design Thinking, a semester elective course, that fulfills an art or technology requirement. Eleventh and twelfth-grade students are eligible to take Foundations of Aerial Technology, a semester elective course that fulfills an art or technology requirement.
