Mathematics

The Mathematics department enables students to move between course levels based on performance. Project-based learning and technology are incorporated into lessons so that students can appreciate real-world applications in business and finance. Extra help is built into the schedule during Ursuline's Flex Learning periods.

Goal:

To convey an appreciation for the beauty and structure of mathematics, the ability to visualize and abstract, reason deductively, organize data, draw conclusions, and solve problems.

Curriculum Overview:

Aided by technology, students research, explore, and analyze real-world topics through writing and presentations. While three years of high school mathematics is a graduation requirement, most students complete four or more years of high school-level mathematics.
