Faith & Spiritual Development

Founded by the Order of St. Ursula in 1897 and guided by the spirit of our patroness St. Angela Merici, we create programming geared towards the Faith & Spiritual Development of all to nurture students both intellectually and spiritually. While 80% of our students identify as Catholic, we welcome families of all faith backgrounds. Ursuline students take part in school-wide celebrations, grade level retreats, and optional faith and spirituality programs throughout the school year.

Development of the Whole Person

At Ursuline, Development of the Whole Person means that students are encouraged to pursue their passions and interests inside and outside the classroom. Our well-rounded curriculum enables students to tap into their God-given gifts, talents, and abilities, resulting is a diverse and close-knit community. Serviam & Social Justice

Serviam, which means "I will serve," is the motto of all Ursuline schools. Our students develop a mindset for Serviam & Social Justice by choosing from an abundance of service opportunities throughout the school year. Interested students can make a difference in the community as individuals, club or team members, or as part of a grade-level service initiative. By graduation, all Ursuline students have come to learn that service to others is truly love in action.

Global Citizenship

Generations of Ursuline students have seen first-hand the importance of Global Citizenship. Through a multitude of academic, cultural, and travel opportunities, we prepare our students to become wise, active, and globally-minded leaders in a culturally diverse world. Our global education programs help to demonstrate that world issues are shared issues. Since 1897, The Ursuline School serves to inspire tomorrow's global leaders each and every day.
