Tuition, Scholarships & Financial Assistance
Tuition for the 2022-23 school year is $20,600.
The Ursuline School awarded $1.3 million in academic scholarships and grants for the 2021-22 academic year.
Merici Academic Scholarships
Named for Ursuline foundress St. Angela Merici, the prestigious Merici Academic Scholarships are awarded to 9th grade students based on exceptional performance on the TACHS/ISEE or SSAT exam and the student's academic record. These partial scholarships stay with the students throughout their Ursuline career provided that the student maintains an unweighted GPA of 3.75 or above (5.0 GPA scale.)
Named Privately-Funded Scholarships
A select number of privately-funded scholarships established by generous donors and named in honor or in memory of Ursuline alumnae, sisters, faculty, and administration are available for incoming and rising 9th graders. Among these are the full-tuition Emily Clemente Memorial Scholarship and the half-tuition Gabelli Foundation Scholarship which are awarded every year.
The Ursuline School is pleased to offer need based financial aid grants to all eligible students in our middle and high school.
TUS Grants are need-based financial awards for qualified middle and high school students, as demonstrated through the evaluation of a financial aid application by The Ursuline School Financial Aid Committee. TUS Grant awards are partial and cannot meet full demonstrated need. All applications are processed by School & Student Services, a part of Community Brands. You may access more information about the financial aid process here.
School & Student Services evaluates the information and provides a detailed report to The Ursuline School. We then use all the information available to decide on an appropriate financial aid award. Need-based financial aid is granted at the the School's discretion, on a first come, first serve basis. This award is not automatically renewable from year to year. Each year you must re-submit an online application to https://sssandtadsfa.force.
