Our search process is nearing completion for a new Principal

for the 2018-19 school year.

Faculty, staff and students met with three candidates.

In November 2017, three candidates for the Principal position met with faculty, staff, and students. Feedback was solicited. The discernment process includes a reconvening of the Search Committee this month. The announcement of the new Principal will be made in January 2018.

Consensus formed around three candidates.

We received more than 45 resumes and have conducted two rounds of interviews. A consensus has formed around three candidates, who will be on site in November to meet with faculty and students.

Our search process has begun for a new Principal for the 2018-19 school year.

We are currently accepting applications.

Principal Carol Killebrew announced in June 2017 that she will be relocating after the 2017-18 school year. Her husband has taken a job in Maryland and she will join him in July 2018.

We are fortunate that Carol Killebrew will stay at Ursuline for the whole 2017-18 academic year to carry forward the various endeavors underway with the enthusiasm and creativity that are her trademarks and to provide a smooth transition to a new Principal.

The description of the responsibilities and professional qualifications of the new Principal may be downloaded here. Review of nominations will begin immediately. We will also be forming a Search Committee. That Committee will include representatives from our various constituencies.
