During the month of February, students in the Advanced Drawing & Painting classes were given the prompt of "Love, Love, Love" to create a work of art of their choice. Choice-Based Art classrooms are working studios where students learn through authentic art making.

Control shifts from teacher to learner as students explore ideas and interests in art media of their choice. This concept supports multiple modes of learning to meet the differing needs of the students.

The variety of works created demonstrates the diverse views of the students; some took a literal approach and drew anatomical hearts while others chose to illustrate the love of family.
