Celebration of New iHub

On January 28, 2021 we officially opened our new Technology Suite which includes a Drop-In Room and Innovation Hub!  Classes are now taking place in those spaces.

On our official Opening Day, students and faculty enjoyed hexagon-shaped sugar cookies, a science themed playlist and some fantastic TED Talks on the importance of girls and women in STEAM.

Perhaps the most exciting part of Opening Day was the Student Takeover of our Instagram.

Ursuline has always been at the forefront of educational technology. We began a Learning with Laptops program in 1997. And we offer a full suite of Computer Science courses.

Our outstanding STEAM curriculum is further expanded with the addition of new courses such as Fashion Design and STEAM for Social Change.

This curriculum is now matched by equally impressive facilities. Ursuline students will bring design, invention and creation to even greater levels!

We capped off the special Opening Day with the first of our two virtual "Full STEAM Ahead" programs. Students gave a virtual tour of the iHub, conducted online polls, and demonstrated some projects

"Full STEAM Ahead" also featured several young alums who spoke about how Ursuline prepared them for their college pursuits of computer science, architecture, engineering, and business.

These are just a few of the amazing 8,000+ alumnae who make up a network unmatched in Catholic, independent, all-girls' education. Alumnae are involved in every aspect of current student life - mentoring, sharing internships opportunities, returning for our Academic Speaker Series in all disciplines, and offering advice on the college process. The sisterhood extends well beyond the years on campus.
