On October 21 and 22, 2020, the two cohorts of our sophomore class each participated in a day-long seminar presented by Stu Cabe of The Ovation Company, encouraging students to take an active role in their school community, "standing up for what is good".
Through a series of activities and interactions, the class was challenged to step outside their comfort zones and get to know one another better. Students were especially touched by Stu's "butterfly story". Our sophomores were able to thank their friends, family and teachers for all that they do for them through brief messages they wrote down.
Seminars such as this one by Stu Cabe are one way that our Personal Development program educates the whole person, helping students learn about themselves, connect with others and create change in their world.
