State Champions in Golf

The Koalas are the 2022 NYSPHSAA Girls Golf Team Champions!

Congratulations to Sofia Nogalo ‘23, Sarah Brannigan ‘24, Julia Kret ’24 and Nina Choe ‘26 on winning Ursuline's first golf state championship in school history.  Each of their individual scores was important in earning the state team title. Nina Choe placed 2nd, Sofia Nogalo placed 3rd, Julia Kret 10th and Sarah Brannigan 35th (tied). Since Nina, Sofia, and Julia placed in the top ten, they were named All State.

The state championship tournament was played June 4 – 6, 2022 at the McGregor Links Country Club in Saratoga, NY.  Ursuline represented Section 1 with honor.  The team is pictured here with Ursuline golf coach Jonathan Tuttle.
