Cash/Check or Venmo
By far the easiest and most common way to support Ursuline is to make an outright gift of cash. To send a check, please make it payable to The Ursuline School and mail it or drop it off in the main office:

Matching Gifts
Your gift can go twice as far if you take advantage of your employer’s or your spouse’s employee matching gift program. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, check with your human resources department or contact Nina Garcia, Advancement Coordinator, at garcian@ursulinenewrochelle.org for help. Some companies, such as Microsoft, will match your gift in product and may even match your volunteer hours.
Credit Card Online
Direct donations by credit card to the school may be made any time during the year, and are fully tax deductible. Ursuline accepts Visa and MasterCard.

Pledges
Pledges can be made with payments on a schedule that is initiated by September 1st and completed by August 31st, the end of our fiscal year.
Appreciated Securities
A gift of appreciated securities which you have owned for at least 12 months can benefit you in two ways. You can claim a charitable income tax deduction for the full value of the gift and you will avoid capital gains tax on the amount of appreciation that would have been due if you had sold the shares yourself. Donors are encouraged to consult their brokers or advisors. Please alert the Advancement Office at 914-636-5169 of your intention to transfer stock or for any assistance you may need.

Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsorship opportunity for individuals or businesses to showcase their support of the school and receive public recognition in the form of advertising or promotion at an event, while making a donation that helps to maximize the amount of money raised at the event is welcome.
Sponsorship opportunities include events such as the annual Koala Sweepstakes & Auction and the Golf Outing. To find out more and to be directed to the next upcoming event, please contact the Advancement Office.
Gifts in Kind
Gifts in kind afford you the opportunity to donate valuable items, property, or professional services to The Ursuline School. If you wish to donate items that have not been specifically requested by or discussed with a faculty or staff member, please contact the Advancement Office at 914-636-5169 prior to making your donation.
Planned Gifts
Planned gifts include wills, bequests, real estate, life insurance, and charitable remainder trusts. Planned gifts are a meaningful way to leave a legacy while helping to educate future generation’s Ursuline students. If you have already made a provision for The Ursuline School in your estate plan, please let us know, so we may say thank you and recognize your generosity.
Underwriting
In an effort to make each dollar raised at a special event count, parents often choose to make a donation for the purpose of underwriting an aspect of that evening’s program. Helping to pay for food, wine, staff, printing costs, and other options exist to help maximize the income potential of an event by offsetting the direct costs. If you are interested in helping the school in this manner, please contact the Advancement Office at 914-636-5169.
Restricted Gifts
Gifts that generate funds designated for a specific purpose are restricted vs. unrestricted gifts. The Advancement Office works with potential donors to help apply their gift in a way that satisfies the needs of the school and the wishes of the donor. We are always open to discuss the direction of a donor's generosity.
You may always donate any gift in memory of or in honor of someone you wish to acknowledge.
